RILEY BUCHHOLZ

CLASS OF 2019

Riley Buchholz established himself as one of the top distance runners in Beavercreek Track & Field history. He captured the 2019 OHSAA Division I State Championship in the 1600 meters, completing a standout career that included success at every level of postseason competition.

Buchholz won two individual and one relay GWOC championship while also earning two individual conference runner-up finishes. At the district level, he was part of a championship relay team and recorded three individual runner-up finishes. He added an individual regional championship, an individual regional runner-up finish and a regional runner-up performance as a member of a relay. He also held the school record for the 1600m for several years.

Following his career at Beavercreek, Buchholz continued competing at the collegiate level for the University of Tennessee.
