Head Coach 1936-1950
Merlin S. Eidemiller served as Beavercreek’s head track coach from 1936 to 1950, guiding the 1943 boys team to a Class B state runner-up finish and the 1949 team to a tie for 10th. The 1943 finish remains the best by any Beavercreek track and field team, with the 2026 boys coming closest by placing third at the OHSAA State Championship. Eidemiller later became a highly respected track official, working at the Dayton Relays for 50 consecutive years and earning induction into the OHSAA Officiating Hall of Fame in 1992.
