CLASS OF 1982

Pat Kiesel established himself as the greatest high jumper in Beavercreek Track & Field history. He placed fourth in the high jump at the 1981 OHSAA State Championship before capturing the state title in 1982. That same year, he set the Beavercreek school record at 7 feet, 2 inches—a record that has stood since 1982.

Kiesel was also a conference, sectional, district and regional champion during his outstanding high school career. He remains the only athlete in Beavercreek history to clear a height greater than 6 feet, 8 inches.

Following his graduation from Beavercreek, Kiesel continued his track and field career at the University of Tennessee.
