Assistant Coach - Throws

Hi, I’m Coach Kris Doggett! For the past 11 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching high school athletes in the shot put and discus. Throwing is a unique mix of strength, rhythm, and focus, and my goal is to make sure every athlete I coach feels confident and competitive when they step into the circle. Whether you're a beginner learning the glide or spin, or an experienced thrower looking to fine-tune your release for a championship meet, I’m here to help you unlock your full potential.

By day, I bring my passion for technology to the classroom as a robotics teacher at Jacob Coy Middle School. When I’m not teaching, at the track, or in the weight room, I love spending time with my family. I am happily married to my wife, Amy, and we are the proud parents of two beautiful girls. I look forward to another great season of helping our athletes reach their goals.
