BOB WEIDNER
Head Coach 1963 - 1965 & 1968 - 1969
Bob Weidner served as Beavercreek High School’s boys’ head track and field coach during the 1960s, helping guide the program through an important period of growth. He led the varsity program from at least 1963 through 1965 before later returning as head coach for the 1968 and 1969 seasons.
Under Weidner’s leadership, participation in the program grew substantially, with a record number of athletes reporting for the team by 1969. That season, Beavercreek captured the conference championship, providing a fitting conclusion to his tenure as head coach before William “Buzz” Seilhamer took over the program in 1970.
Weidner’s contributions helped establish the foundation for the success Beavercreek Track & Field would continue to experience in the decades that followed.
